Looks like you're making progress. I'm currently in the same situation with an old Winchester Model 100 .243. I understand why he cleaned it so little once I took it apart. It's an absolute horrible design but it's a semi rare rifle and has a lot of sentimental value to me. The extractor quit working which is a common problem and I'm trying to get it setup for my son to use in a couple years. These types of projects are my favorite.
