Breckenridge County Kentucky

Anyone have any knowledge of the county / area? Just picked up a lease and wondering what to expect - weather, ticks, chiggers, etc etc.. Oh yeah, and of course bucks and gobblers.

Hoping to get down to the property next month for Turkey opener.

I have hunted in Yellow Banks WMA which is in that county. Yes to deer, turkey, and trophy ticks. Oh and waterfowl coming off the Ohio river once deer season ends. About an hour from me and other hunting areas closer so I don't get over there too often.

Everyone was griping about the turkey flock being down last year, but I have been seeing the same numbers.

Breckinridge County is about a hour east of me. My buddy hunts a farm and has shot some nice bucks there. I have a picture of a whopper muzzleloader kill from three years ago in Breckinridge County. If I could figure out the picture posting here your jaw would drop off the hinges.
