Braggin Board for Fishing!

Spent 1.5 days fishing near Awendaw a few weeks ago. Boat limit of reds each day, 55 fish day one, 16ish day 2.

Predominantly red fish, a couple black drums and some small sheephead. Really cold the first day

My wife and I just finished an 8-day cruise up the Amazon River during the rainy season. It was not a fishing trip nor were there options for me to do so, but I really learned a lot about that amazing river. I wanted to share one thing I learned about a particular fish with fellow anglers here on the 'slide...

You guys may already know this (I didn't)...the Amazon River is home to the largest freshwater scaled fish on earth...the Arapaima (also known as the Pirarucu). It can reach lengths of 10-feet and weigh up to 400 pounds. Here is a picture I took of a picture at a local shop of a resident person's brag...
