I’m going to be in Bozeman for the next 24 hours or so. Anything in particular that I need to see or do?

I was just there 2 weeks ago passing through. I can tell you Stone Glacier (they moved to a new location) and Simms fishing products are there. There are some other companies who are based out of there too.

Depends on what you want to do. Schnee's is a nice place to spend cash. Sitka is there, Mystery Ranch is there. You could drive to Great Falls and visit my parents.

The Museum of the Rockies is worth a few hours. There is a grizzly bear sanctuary there called Montana Grizzly Encounter. Bozeman Spirits or Wildrye Distillery are worth a look and taste, but you should Uber on that one.

Breweries and good food, good fishing, copper whiskey for dinner. Skip the grizzly tour, museum of the Rockies is cool. Norris hot springs isn’t too far

The only thing truly worth it is the Museum of the Rockies. Thats the only thing you cant find anywhere else. If you wanna hang around the NR transplant scum, I guess go downtown.

Great point. Water is stupid high in the rivers, not worth fishing unless you can access a spring creek.
For chow I second the post above about Bar 3 in Belgrade. Great place to fill your gut before heading to the airport, if you're flying out.

Yellowstone is the entire purpose of the trip. I’ve been there before but I can never spend enough time there. Unfortunately my wife had a work conflict and had to fly out a day later. So I hung out in Bozeman until her flight arrived. I ended up hitting Schnees, Stone Glacier and Sitka. Had dinner at Sidewinders (that’s a long story). Spent some time and the headwaters and shot the bull with some guys fly fishing the Madison.

Sidewinders was fine. I just took a long way around to get there. I originally went to Staceys Old Faithful bar but the kitchen was closed. Had a beer and decided to try a place the owner of my Airbnb suggested, The mint. I get there and it was closed. After looking at yelp for a minute I decided on Montana ale works. The route to Montana ale works took me past Stone Glacier. I just had to stop in. The guy there recommended Montana Ale works and Sidewinders. At this point I was starving and Sidewinders was closer.
