WTS/WTT Boyd’s Thumhole stock (short action)

This is my rifle, I do not like thumbhole stocks so I’m hoping to trade this one for a non-thumbhole stock

Its a Boyd’s stock so whatever stock you offer in trade, try to make it at least similar quality. I won’t be trading this stock for a Tupperware cheapy. I do prefer a wood stock but there are definitely some nice composites out there

I think you'll need a long action stock. I have the same gun and I thought that savage just used a different magazine to run their short action calibers to save costs

That looks like a short action stock. Unless you are changing it to another caliber you are going to want another axis short action stock. On the long action stock it is notched to within 1/4" of the rear action screw. This is a long action Boyd's stock for reference
