i have a pair of wooly boxers i wore for 7 days straight turkey hunting and they weren't bad at all, and they are a merino poly blend, which I like for the faster drying. was looking at trying woolx next. i like the wooly but they are pretty short.

Gotta ask, why on earth would you wear same boxers for so many days turkey hunting. How remote was the hunt?

This has been my same exact experience with smartwool and FL merino boxers as well. Smartwool much more durable.

I agree and am a bit bummed about it as well. I would really like to support a company like FL whenever possible (I am a camo mutt and always liked the feel of their boxers, especially in hot CA weather) but its hard to drop 40+ bucks on a pair of boxers only to have them last a few months. Its too big of a discrepancy in quality for the same price to not buy smartwool in my opinion. Wish it were different. I would certainly be up for giving them a shot again someday if they figure out how to make them last a bit longer

I prefer the Sitka merino ones as well as my Kryptek merino ones. Both do a great job at keeping odors under control. Not a a fan of the synthetics that I have tried as they funk up too quickly. I have not encountered a situation while hunting where I wished I had been wearing synthetics instead of merino.
