Wayne Carlton passed away today.

He was a great person for the outdoor community

I pretty much only use Carlton calls for elk hunting

Sorry to hear that, he made some great calls. His son (Marc) is a good dude, still making calls down in montrose I think. He hooked my buddy up with a bunch of freebies for our archery fundraiser shoot a couple years ago

Met him years ago along the road elk hunting when his vehicle broke down. Nice guy and sorry to hear the news.

Dang! He was one of the reasons I moved to a state with elk.

Wow! I learned how to call elk from his old cassette tapes back in the mid 80’s. He came and spoke once for my local archery club and it was a great time. Big loss.
