An hour and a half from Lancaster there's a new shop called woods archery. The guy who works the counter doesn't know anything the knowledgeable people are hiding in back. But I've never experienced tuning with them. Also there is Riverside archery and hour and a half from Lancaster, I have worked with them on tuning and they're ok, a few young guys working in there, the shop has been around a long time. Honestly Riverside archery get rave reviews but I couldn't tell why when I've been in.

In Reno you basically got two options: wasting arrows and house of archery. I won’t step foot into wasting arrows because it seems like they’re just all about making money. I bought my bow from them, they told me I’d get a free hour of lane time and some free lessons which I thought was pretty cool but for some reason they didn’t have any lane cards or whatever so they would email me about it. I never got the email and when I went in to ask they acted like I was making stuff up. I’ve had them build arrows for me and the inserts and tips come out no matter what. The only knowledge person there is Ejay and he knows what he’s doing but besides that it’s a bunch of kids working the counter.
House of Arrows on the other hand, small shop in sparks, Nv. There’s an old timer in there named Rick. I’ve spent hours in there discussing things with him from bowstrings to broadheads to kisser buttons and not once did I feel pressured to purchase anything or rushed so he didn’t have to waste his time. He’s patient and willing to explain things. I had him tune my bow and it came out perfect.
