Bow Hunting Course for Montana

I will be bow hunting in Montana for my 1st archery elk. I've hunted archery for over 20 years here in South Carolina for whitetails but their big game license has nothing pertaining to archery on them so I could use as "proof" for the Montana license. What have other non residents done to qualify for archery license in Montana since their online course is only for local?

I'm hoping i have no problem either cause not sure how Montana game and fish can possibly know every state or province license tag number meaning? I just down my license number and hoping if there is a issue they contact me.

I wound up taking that course earlier posted.

IBEP could be another option for people not from SC. In VA, I had to take IBEP to qualify for a local .gov program for urban archery deer culling
