Turned 60 earlier this year and this will be my first time in 25 years not bowhunting in the fall.

Gonna give it rest this year.

Drew a decent ML bull elk tag, a rifle cow moose tag and a Wyo deer tag.

I’m really looking forward to switching things up.
You are sure going to eat well.

(can you hunt Wyo deer with a bow? same as elk)

I use firearm/crossbow and compound bow. I enjoy them all...may get me a muzzleloader. Been using/shooting a crossbow for 20 years..just another tool.

65, still hunting elk and deer mainly in wilderness areas. Have an elk and deer tag for late September in the same unit.
63lb draw weight on my lift 33 and conservatively shoot 300-350 arrows a week. Still compete in 3D as well

I turned 73 last fall. As my user name says, I only hunt with a bow. For the last 35 years I have bow hunted with my 60 pound recurve. This past season I was fortunate to finally take my fifth caribou species in Alaska, my fifth deer species on Kodiak, a nice whitetail buck in my home state, and two bull elk, one in Montana and one in Colorado. As I said, I am certainly fortunate to still be able to be doing these types of hunts, but it is the result of the choices and effort I have made over many years. While you are above ground, aging is inevitable, how you age is not inevitable.
