Bow / gun packing

How is everyone lashing their Bow / gun to their pack? I'm running a KU 5200. I'm thinking a harness from the bottom of the pack to hold the butt or the gun or the wheel of the bow then lashing it to the top portion of the pack. Pics would be great if you have them.

I have a blue widow with the bow bucket and I found a survival bracelet holds the bow better then the strap they send with it. I really like the set up and its solid BUT it doesnt work for quick drawing the way I have it set up. When I get into my hunting area I typically have bow in hand so its not a problem for me.

Pretty easy even without a bow bucket

....................... just make sure the string/cables dont rub. I used a couple of those small velcro straps on this pack [osprey argon] but my Mchale that I use now has those built in. I lash to the handle/limbs in 2 places

me too. just attach the riser. i put a loose strap around the bow, to keep it from "hingeing" out.

i do however go broadheads pointed down. makes me feel my arrows are more secure.

hey BEEN..i shot at Briones yesterday. super nice!! that 100 yard target was fun. you going to the lafayette meeting wed..i am gonna try.

Kifaru aux. gun bearer. I don't like the standard gun bearer and prefer it strapped vertically to the pack, not out in front of me

Kuiu makes a bow holder for that pack...it's even in stock....lol
