I have an elk hunt in Colorado this fall that I'm planning to use my e-moto to access some portions of the unit. I know that in Colorado to be in compliance all weapons need to be fully encased when on a motor vehicle. Anyone out there have any creative solutions to be legal without strapping a hard-sided bow case onto the bike? Any good soft cases with backpack straps out there? Other ideas?
Would love to hear from anyone who has a system for this!

I believe it has to be in a hard case. But I’m gonna give you some advice call the CPW office in the area you are hunting and ask them, cause they would be the ones giving you the ticket. I would ask about a soft case and all that. I use what’s called a bow bat on my horses with hunters, it was made for eastern trees and hunters and they didn’t market to western horseback outfitters or they wouldn’t have went out of business. It’s really nice to have and has storage for stuff as well. They were made by gameplan gear and I find them on eBay all the time

I use soft cases, never had a problem. Checked a couple of times.

SKB makes a soft case with backpack style straps, but its awful large to try to carry on a bike, I put 40" ATA bows in it, beats on the back of my legs.

Maybe a single sling, slung on your side would work better however awkward that would be.
