Hey guys, I purchased a new bow Hoyt Hyperforce. I love the bow, just looking for help on a way to quiet it down some. Any brands of silencer that anybody uses that they recommend?

I'm shooting Easton FMJ Injections with a 330 spine as of now with just a 100 grain practice head. I don't know enough about bows to know what else I should try looking at or changing. Thanks for the replys.

If you have a press, or access to one, add a Simms Everlast Leech to the bottom of the string halfway between the string stopper and the cam. If you don’t have a press, then tie in cat whiskers or install an Apex Gear Double Down Silencer in the same spot. You only need one in this spot and it’ll make a big difference. The early 2018 Hoyt bows didn’t come with this but they added them a few months after release so if your bow already has a string leech in this spot then check your cam timing timing and make sure all accessories are tight.

Assuming you already shoot an average to heavy weight arrow (>400 grains), I find with all of my Hoyts cam timing is everything for noise control. After that I place a small set of cat whiskers (1-1.5 inch diameter) on the string between the speed nocks and a single SIMS string leach into the lower portion of the control cable.

Well returned the bow after only having it two weeks and got my money back. It was a good bow but not exactly what I wanted. Hopefully I can find what I want in these 2019 bows.
