That green label is very good. Of the ryes I’ve tried, I think this and Angels Envy are my favorites so far for sipping neat.barrel seagrass - start with the cheapest one green label. If you like it you will like the grey and gold labels.
I came back around to this Whistlepig wheater tonight and actually really enjoyed it. I’m starting to wonder if I need to open bottles up and let them sit for a week before I try them. And apparently neat at room temp is the only way to drink them.You may not be a wheater fan. I have had many and some of the "best" ones. I have generally learned to pass on wheats. I also dont love high rye bourbons (30%) rye in a corn mashbill. I love corn, I love high ryes 95/5. I dont like them mixed. AKA remus special reserve. Start tracking mashbills and you will get ahead sooner.
