Bourbon

Flock night with a friend. All of the bottles were excellent. The RR15 lives up to the hype. The 80th anniversary was quite good, better than I expected. It went down so very, very easily.

George T Stagg, Old Forrester 1920 Prohibition, Bookers, Pappy van winkle (I lucked into a few bottles years back so I’m making them last )

My dad likes Weller, I have to get it in southern Ohio or WV. It was selling out that fast back home.
My cousin says Buffalo Trace cream bourbon and root beer is amazing.
Gzf bought a lot of maple flavored bourbon when she was working in Vermont.
It was damn good
Iron fish (based out of MI) makes a decent bourbon that is finished in maple syrup barrels

Heading down to Lexington in two weeks. We were going to fly then my wife reminded me that it's hard to bring back bottles on the plane...I guess we're taking the truck down...smart woman!

I like a lot of the usuals already posted.. Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Knob Creek, Old Forester, and Four Roses are always in my cabinet.

Kentucky Owl Confiscated is very good, was recently gifted a bottle of Isaac Bowan small batch and its great, and I actually enjoy the regular cheap bottle of Four Roses almost as much as anything else..

I also think Blantons is overrated..
100 percent agree with u on Blantons. Big fan of the Four Roses single barrel.

The other day i had to drill some large drain holes in the bottom of a half-Jack Daniel's barrel for one of the wife's planters. My goodness did the smell of that vanilla-y, Jack-soaked oak smell good - wow!
