Bought an Arken EPL-4. Maybe regretting my decision.

Just curious. Wasn’t even in rifle shooting before the SH4J’s.

I’ve got an epl-4 4-16 on a 223 and the SWFA 10x on a 22ARC. I like everything about the EPL-4 better than the SWFA, so much so I’ve considered selling the SWFA for another EPL-4. The only thing the SWFA has going for it is I have more trust in its durability than I do the Arken, but that is simply influenced by what the tests and confirmation bias I have seen here have shown. The Arken performs better in low light and direct light than the SWFA to my eye. Also, my SWFA may have lost zero last time I checked it by about .4mils, and I plan to continue to monitor that.

I have a Maven RS1.2 and if I had full confidence in the durability of the Arken, I think I’d like it better than the Maven as well. The Arken hasn’t given me any reason to doubt it yet.
