Boot size goes up with age?

Anyone else have to increase your boot size as you get older. In my 20s I used 10 & 1/2. Around 35-40 somewhere I changed to 11 and now 11 seems to be too short! Prob need to increase to 11 & 1/2!

Width went from medium to wide as well, but assume that is just my bunion growing!

My feet shrunk two sizes between my freshman and sophomore years in college...

Its odd because I feel like I am actually headed the other direction. I was an 11..then 10.5...and now a 10 and I am in my late 30s. Most of me thinks however that I am now just wearing shoes that actually fit me and not being a dumbass that was trying to wear everything big/baggy etc.

At 60 it seems mine are shrinking, was 11 then 10.5, and now 10 for hunting and work boots. Runners are still 11 depending on manufacturer.

At 50 mine have gotten wider, only wide shoes and boots will fit now, I suspect my feet are flattening as the muscle tissue stretches with age

When I stopped doing heavy squatting and dead lifting, my shoe size dropped from a 13 to a 12 over about a year.

Mine is the opposite. My feet have shrank. Used to wear a 13 now require 12 in most shoes.

My feet grew. Went from 10.5 to 11.5-12 over the last decade.

I wore a 12.5 in high school and the only reason I wear 13's now is because they stopped making 12.5's a few years after I graduated high school. My feet haven't changed a bit. But I hear that ears and noses get bigger as we age.

Same size (58 now) but last few years I've gone to wider boots. Also lost a lot of padding on the balls of my feet so inserts help keep them from bruising while rucking.

I have been wearing 11s for about 20 years, recently I realized all my shoes are too large and went back to 10.5. Some shoes or boots feel better in 11, some 10.5. I think some I could go for a 10 even.

I was an 11d for for 30 years now 11.5-12d depending n boot/shoe size. The arch in the foot I think generally collapses.

I used to wear 10.5 occasionally 11. At 49 years old now I don't even try 10.5 anymore but go straight to 11 or 11.5. I had to go 11.5 in kennetrek. I had assumed that it was just changes in how shoes were sized/imported, but believe I read about flattening of the foot's arch as you age which increases shoe size.

Yep Tex, this Beanman’s feet have upsized from 11 to 12.
