Boot Recommendations.

I’m looking at getting new pair of mid-late season non-insulted boots after this year. Crispi’s fit me perfect but I wasn’t too impressed with the durability of my Briksdal MTN GTX. I like a middle of the road flex and have narrow feet. What’s everyone else wearing that may be an upgrade in durability?

I had those same Crispis and they fell apart on me as well.

I went to a Hanwag Makra Pro and I love them. They are a bit on the stiff side, which is what I like.

This is what my feet like, so do with as youd like. No two feet are the same.

I use to own Crispi Laponias 2. They sucked massive nut sucks to my feet, tried Salewa and they fit better than my crispi. Have around 100 miles on them this year. Quite happy.

Leather is the way to go IMO if durability is the driving issue. When I buy a synthetic boot, less durability is a trade off I make for comfort and a more athletic feel. I have had good luck with my Schnee’s Beartooths though and do really like my Crispi Lapponia IIIs. My next boot is probably the Hanwag Alverstone.

Haven't had any problems with the Crispi Summits over the last four years. The suede on the toes are starting to wear a bit but nothing that is affecting their ability to continue to be dry in wet conditions. Overall probably best boot I have used when I switched out the insoles for Superfeet hike insoles. Prefer them over my Kenetrek Hardscrabble as they are so heavy. Ended up purchasing some Wildrock GTK insulated boots for my late hunts as Crispis seem to be the way to go.

The Kenetrek Corrie hikers I have are the only boots I've tried that have survived a season without coming apart. But they are heavy

Narrow feet. Scarpa or Lowa. I’ve had great longevity out of both (full leather) but haven’t worn a Lowa for awhile.

I have hanwag alverstones that run narrow compared to crispi nevadas. They might be one to look at. I don't a whole lot of use on them because i prefer a larger toe box. I have a pair of crispi lapponia III. My feet hate those boots but they do run more narrow compared to the nevadas as well.
