I’m gonna try to go back in one of the unlimiteds in November if the season stays open after sheep. My primary mountain boots are Hanwag Alaskan GTX and I’m thinking need something with some insulation for November instead.

Any recommendations? I have been looking at the Zamberlan 3031 that have the integrated gaiter. Pretty expensive though and I’m a little worried about the BOA system failing and how you would fix that?

I use Scarpa Kinesis Pro's (uninsulated) for late season hunting in MT every year, but I am a very active hunter. If you are doing a lot of sitting you will prob want some insulation.

Hunted last week with a NW Wyoming guide that hunts late season mulies, swears by Kenetrek Mountain Extreme, says he gets cold feet in pac boots. Wouldnt want to be walking in pac boots in the terrain we were in.

I personally where the same boots, I just adjust my sock weight and bring a second pair. My feet sweat too much.

Thanks for all the responses. Might just run my Hanwags and bring boot blankets. I haven’t been able to find any of these other boots to try within driving distance of southern Indiana
