I had a 10+ year old pair of Meindl boots start to separate at the sole last year and called up Meindl for recommendations on how to fix them. They said they use Boot Fix Glue. It is akin to super glue, but stays flexible after drying. I got some from Amazon and it seems to work pretty well. The boots are holding up, staying together and I'm using it on another pair where the rand has begun peeling back from the toe of the boots.
I got the 'professional grade' Boot Fix, and don't know how it differs from any other kind they offer. But it works for $15, and for the price of a pair of new boots it's worth it. These Meindls are like old friends and I'd hate to retire them.
