Has anyone found a glue that works on rubber boots? I have another pair of mucks that the sole has separated from the rubber and am going to try to fix. Any glue recommendations?

Polyurethane roof flashing sealant, once it cures it doesnt come loose. Son had a pr of alpha burlys come apart, repaired with this and doesn’t happen again. Works with Teva flip flops also, with those used clear. 3m 5200 is similar just costs more. Ask boaters about getting 5200 off, requies a heat gun.

Probably depends as much on getting the surface clean than it does on exactly what glue. Barge cement is what a lot of cobblers use for glued soles.

I used Gear Aid Aquaseal to repair the rubber rand coming loose on a pair of Kennetreks. It's a rubber type of glue so might work.

Shoe Goo. It comes in clear or black. If you clean the surface first, it will be permanent. Allow to dry 24 hours before using the item. Kenetrek sells a similar item too, Gear Aid Aquaseal.. Get the "SR" which I believe stands for Shoe Repair. I got it cheaper on Ebay than Kenetrek.

What do you use to clean the sole ?

I just made sure all of the dirt, etc was cleaned off. The Shoe Goo is permanent, and you don't want pieces of grass etc sticking out of it. The stuff is tenacious and will stick to anything. I suggest using rubber gloves. If you get any on your fingers, it will be there for a while.
