I've got a pair of Hoffman Explorer's that I bought last fall. I've just started wearing them and have about 3 weeks of everyday wear in them. I've greased them with Obenhauf's twice and the toe crease is already cracking. This is my third pair of Explorer's . The second pair did the same exact thing, but I take the blame on that because I didn't take very good care of them. They are an incredibly comfortable boot for me, but I'm pretty disappointed in their longevity . As a side note, I aqua sealed the Rand because every pair I've had split at the Rand/leather connection.
Any suggestions on a different boot grease?
