I’ve got one that we use with the kids in a ground blind. It’s heavy as a cinder block and it’s noisy making adjustments (we’re whitetail hunting close). But guys get it done.

I’ve got the tall Tricer and also grabbed their version of the vice for the kids. It’s more money of course but 100x better and I use it hunting in the Rockies for binos spotter or rifle.

The BOG has been a great tripod for my little guy to get started shooting with a nice stable rest to shoot off of. Agree the weight of it does suck a little but still makes for a pretty solid rest
