Anyone have personal experience with a boat based Alaskan mountain goat hunt? Late season.
I heard a bunch of things: All 2nd hand information.
The boat can get in rough seas, like on the king crab TV shows.
Can't sleep if the seas are rough.
Going from sea level to shooting distance can be an ice climb. and out right dangerous.
The goats run uphill once they see a boat.
I'm really looking for 1st hand experience. Someone who has actually done it.
