BLR Takedown .30-06 Optic Recommendation?

Going to hunt under 250 yards virtually all the time. Deep woods shots will be my normal - Piney Woods.

Would prefer a simple reticle, maybe some illumination.

I'd take a good ol' heavy duplex. Illumination unnecessary on any decent scope at that range.

One of the trijicons or maybe the new nx6 scopes. I would go with 2nd focal plane for your use.

I’ve been considering the BLR in 308. I would go with a Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x40.

Burris scout scope at that range works great

2fp heavier duplex reticle or similar, low power 3x or less and you’re set. If foot hunting and the close shots are likely to be moving, then maybe low magnification 2x or less for the field of view. Some folks use un-magnified optics, I like a little magnification (6-9x) to pick a hole through twigs and hardwood whips.
One of the accupoints would be my first choice if it was in the budget.
