yip, you gotta dig a little bit, but he's definitely got the experience to be legit. There are some good nuggets in this book, especially for guys that hunt more heavily timbered mountains for mule deer.
Wow, it's worth more than free! Let us know what you think after you read.Shows up as a free read on Kindle Unlimited as of 9 July.
Downloaded it and saving it for tree stand reading this fall. Be a great way to get pumped up about CO rifle season!
Thanks for the suggestion.
I don't know any other way to get the book. that is where I bought mine too.If it is a good read a hard back copy will end up on the bookshelf in our cabin. Gotta have some quality reading material on the shelf for the frequent times the power goes out and I can't spend time lurking on RokSlide. Is there a way to get signed copies from Jim directly instead of giving amazon any more of my money?

Totally different book than Dwights--his main focus was bowhunting but good tips for all hunters. How does it compare to Dwight Schuh “Hunting Open Country Mule Deer”? I just ordered that one after listening to the recent episode of Rokcast.
Thank you I’ll add blood in the tracks to the list!Totally different book than Dwights--his main focus was bowhunting but good tips for all hunters.
Jim's book more of a "how I/big buck hunters think and experience mule deer" and way more related to rifle hunting with tactics like tracking/hunting thicker cover.
If you like mule deer hunting you won't regret reading both.
