Teratorn Backpack Review, By Zach Ploshynsky

Curious, how you are attaching them?
I have two of them and never had them come loose even a little.
As per the Exo video. It takes a while, but if I lean on the pack as a rest while glassing, or bushwhack with it, it tends to speed up the process. Usually starts with the bottom end becoming free and then eventually the whole thing loosens significantly

Well, that sucks. I guess I will double-check mine.

Could just be that my strap has become too floppy and not rigid enough over time. Experiences may vary. That said, its overall a minor thing now that I just check before heading out

I have had them since they came out, so mine are far from new. I will be checking them tomorrow just to be sure.

Great review. I know they call it a late season bag due to the layout and design, but I really enjoy hunting out of it here in the PNW. Having quick access to rain gear and layers is great.

It’s not great - pretty crap actually. Always seems to work itself out of the molle and ends up flopping around. Needs some Velcro or a tie off at the end of to keep it on the waistbelt. I’ll be modifying mine accordingly
Mine does come loose, and just the functionality of it.. only thing i have to compare it to is Kifaru’s. And i will be finding a way to attach it to the k4 belt..

I have had the Kifaru style of molle connectors come loose a time or two, but that was after years of use; it's a pretty good system. I checked both EXO bottle carriers before this morning's hike, and both were still secure, with the tails tucked.

I’ve not had mine come loose but i take it on and off a lot when i would switch bags.. i just really prefer how much easier they were to use.. no clue why but i hate the exo one on an angle.

Thanks for that write up. My wife and I use K4 and K4 exs 5000 bags. But as we get older and still hunt we need more warmth and insulation which takes up space, plus kinda want to go lux more often. the 7200 bag never excited me. This Teratorn looks perfect!
