BLM land within a BMA in MT

I’m out in Montana now and was wondering if you can hunt the BLM land that’s within a block management area, the BLM touches the road. I looked through the regs and cannot find an answer on this

If the blm touches a public road it is fair game. If you have to go through the bma to access it then you need to read that bma’s rules. Most bma’s allow access to landlocked public but others will specifically say no access to the public. Good luck

My understanding is any BLM you can legally access regardless of BM type 1 or 2 is open. State lands fall under the BM access rules. Really what authority would the state have to keep you off of federal lands. And you have no obligation to know what's in BM when hunting federal land. I'm not sure who draws up the BM boundaries but it's ridiculous the BLM they'll include for no reason when they have no management over it. Is the BLM included in the total acreage kick back for the land owner?

Yes you can, it is a bonus within a BMU and if the is any public land is touching a public road then you can access that public land.
