Just wanted to pass along this is what I received when I ordered a box of Blem Hornady 134’s and 128’s. These match the length and weight of 134 ELDM and 128 ELDX, but the ELDM came with no tip. The 128’s, shown in the right, did have tips.

Not sure what to expect on game from a ELDM without the tip.

My thoughts as well. Good practice fodder for a decent price. Mainly wanted to pass along what I received because the descriptions on Midway don’t really tell you what you’re getting. At least in this case, ELDX look good and ELDM not so much.

I bought some of the 100 Eld-VT from midway. They were clearly marked as flat polymer tip in the item title, surprised they didn’t describe them better with the ones you purchased.

I only bought them to cheaply break in a barrel before load development and havent spent time developing a load yet. For break in, I shot 15 round groups at several different powder charges. Every group would throw 3 or 4 shots significantly lower than the rest of the group.

You may have better luck.

The ones I received have no polymer tip at all. Big wide hollow point where the tip was supposed to be. In their description they state the polymer tip colors may vary.
Still probably a decent bullet, just not what I expected.

depending on the bullet, I've had pretty mixed luck with factory seconds from midway. I bought 500 109eldm seconds and they are all over the place. Some missing tips, ogives all over the place, and up to 8gr weight discrepancies on bullets that still had tips
