If you're interested in only American made you may want to also look at Mak Grills. I looked at Yoder. They're heavy, and I haven't heard anything bad about them.

I have a Yoder 640s. She’s a heavy girl and very well built. The casters are solid and I haven’t had any problems with it.

I’ve had a Yoder YS 480 for 8 years with 0 issues. We love it, I replaced a POS Treager with it. It gets crazy hot for searing and maintains a steady temp for smoking.

Yoder YS640 since 2019. Beefy unit. Mine is on the pneumatic caster type cart. You can smoke, sear, grill on it. You can work over an open flame if you want. It gets hot too. Real hot. Holds temp well for smoking at low heat, too.

I have a Blaz’n Grill Works grid iron for 7 or 8 years and it’s been great. Circuit board went out and they had me a new one in a couple days.

Can’t speak for the 480/640, but I can attest that they are well built units. I have a Wichita and it’s heavy and quality construction.

I have been using cheap pit bosses and they just keep ******* up every year after grilling and smoking 4-5 days a week.

My first and only pellet grill is a GMG that I love/hate. I hate that it's cumbersome to clean out the firebox, and has went out on me several times in the middle of a cook. Yes, I should've cleaned it out sooner.

How are the Yoder and others for maintaining and firebox clean out?

The blazn seems to have a Slide drawer to remove the box entirely. Sombody with one should confirm this, im just guessing off pictures.
