We took these 2 bucks last weekend of season as well . Southern B zone was starting to rut.
Public land
18.5" 3x2 and a 21" fork

Great bucks!! See you must of found a spot without a pile of long tails roaming around. Kill them while you can- cause the southern B’s won’t be much of nothing within the next 5-10 years.

Unfortunately no, I've got some photos of his shoulder mount, but I cut his cape too short so the taxidermist used a cape off a 2.5 year old 3x3. Really detracts from his original body mass. Lesson learned.

Here are my three sitka blacktail I harvested this year. Non of them are as big as the 3x4 I got the year before but the meat in the freezer is nice. I killed another one with my bow but was not able to recover it so I punched my fourth tag and called it a year.

Damn, I would say it was worth the wait, great blacktail!!

Here is the last blacktail I killed. Took it a few years back on some of my uncles land. Hit the hunt just perfect as they were rutting pretty good. Found this buck pushing a doe around 10:30am on the first morning. Spent the next few days looking over many bucks with my cousin, trying to find him one.
