How are they to eat?
I’m guessing like anything else it depends on what it feeds on, but in general.

There isn't a lot of meat on them, but they're good in my opinion. Better than whitetail.

Excellent meat, just not a lot of it. Back straps and tenderloins you could cut with a butter knife.

Yes excellent table fare. The loins (backstrap) and tenders are especially good.

Excellent table fare. I carried my last one with one hand back to the truck. Funny when you’re used to packing out elk.
