Black widow bows

I've heard of rare cases where they try to enforce that....seems to me you can just draw the bow further.

My 50# recurve will pull 54# back near my ear....grin

I did the “test drive” on a widow and I think it’s the way to go. I wish I would have went with g10 in the long run for the mass weight but my bow is very purdy!

If I was going to get back into archery I’d get a toelke whip and be done with it.

I almost sold it earlier this year I was shooting my wengerd so much but I decided to keep it. I did the Snyder grip and feel like it’s pretty close to the cooling

Most any custom bowyer will mark at 50. Say you get a 45 at 28, they will mark it 50 if you would like.

If you want a bomb proof recurve, get Black, Green or Brown G10 with Carbon limbs.

May affect resell value if its off- but an easy honest fix is to say 50# at 30"

I went to the Shop in Nixa last year and shot a few bows they had there. It really helps deciding on a grip and overall fit if you aren't familiar. I also tried some carbon limbs and liked them.

I still haven't ordered one yet... just waiting for the right time in life to make the commitment to a stickbow

I shot a widow a few months back and was impressed. Living in West Texas may have scarred me enough that I will wait awhile longer before getting one though
