Black water tank heater?

Does anyone have experience with a tank heater for the black water tank?

At the end of season it can get to single digit or sub zero temperatures, we use RV anti freeze to flush the toilet in the camper but it still some times isn’t enough to keep things liquid enough to dump the tank, this weekend it was 10F and my tank was too frozen to dump.

I’m thinking of getting a tank heater that I could run on the generator to keep the tank thawed out- normally only run the generator at night for about 6-8 hours but I’m not sure if that’s enough run time to keep the tank thawed or not.

Interested to hear any experience you’ve had with tank heaters.

My old camper had 12v DC heaters for the tanks with on/off switches with the other controls on the panel. They worked fairly well when I used them down to about 0 degrees, only had to do it maybe a handful of times. I’ve seen stick on aftermarket ones in the past, I’d probably stick to 12v so that you don’t have to rely on shore/gen to run them. Current camper has enclosed underbelly with heater vents plumbed into it.
