Black Ovis Mesa Hoodie

It does look very similar! How often do they do sales? and do they do a pretty good percentage off?
Man they had like a 50% off sale just a week or two ago on several merino pieces of varying weight. If I didn't already have too much I would've tried them out!

I purchased both their precore base layer hoodie (L) and pants (M), as well as the mid-fleece hoodie (L). The base layers were excellent, and the merino was very comparable to FL in weight as well as softness. I liked the athletic fit, but would have preferred the hoodie to be about 1" longer even with my stumpy athletic build (5'7", 185 lbs). The mid-fleece hoodie is a perfect mid-layer. It's longer and looser, allowing it to easily go over the base layer. All were about $50 or $60 a piece, which seemed like a great deal for the quality of the pieces.

So apparently BlackOvis is out of business. Does anyone know where I can still buy one of these???
I would really like to get one of these hoodies in a size M.
Don’t care about color too much but gray would be ideal.

Only place you’ll find one is used off classifieds. I’d check out Sitka core merino 330, very similar base layer. But if you’re looking for a mid layer, I highly recommend the duckworth powder hoody. It’s my favorite piece of guy I’ve owned, i wear it 24/7 in and out of the woods

yep unfortunately Mr Bojangles is correct, its a shame too as this piece has become a staple in my layering, I sure would like to find another one to have as a backup for when/if this one wears out

I have been trying not to wear mine because I don’t want it to wear out, haha. Sucks that we didn’t have a little warning because I would have got a couple more of them. Such an awesome piece. Last year there were a few days steelhead fishing that started in the 20’s and the mesa with a base layer was perfect, didn’t get cold early but didn’t overheat when it warmed up

I have decided to only wear it for clear cold weather to hopefully stretch it’s life out
