For anyone looking at factory ammo for their AR. This was a 20 round magazine with about 3 seconds in between shots. The grouping pic was a 4 round group at 100yds with a 2.5-10x scope. The pig was victim 1 of 3 today, around 135yds, and proof that 5.56 fragmentation rounds do not grenade on “super tough armored” pig shoulders. TMK pills put it down!

That’s great performance! What barrel length are you running?
It’s a 16” barrel. Honestly, I was pretty surprised too. JP knows what they’re doing - every rifle I’ve seen that they’ve built flat out shoots.

Good stuff. I keep hearing Black Hills is right at the top for quality and performance for 5.56. Need to get some myself.

Update:

77 TMK works great on prairie dogs too. Ranges were from 150-450yds. The sweet spot for the p-dogs to come apart dramatically seemed to be somewhere in the 225 yard range, around 2200fps. I’m guessing I shot 35 or 40 yesterday afternoon.

Picked up an RRS TFTC-33 tripod and wanted to try it out. Gorgeous day, a nice 10-15 mph breeze, and loads of fun.
