I just picked up a few fly lines on solid discounts, like 40% off and I needed them so I’m happy. New fly rod, a few lines. Nothing crazy, no impulse purchases, just well executed, tactical shopping.

I actually tried a bunch of fly rods a few months back so I knew what I was looking for, I had it narrows down to 3 different 10wt rods.

25% off something I was going to get anyways was a no brainer. And obviously, unneeded lines for the new rod so finding good discounts on those was great too.

I have more hunting gear than I can ever use, at this point I have every piece of gear for any hunt, anywhere in the world. No reason to keep throwing stuff on that pile, if anything I need to move some stuff that dosent get used.

I found a deal I couldn’t pass up on broadheads that I was about to buy anyway. Amazing how much a guy can spend even when you combine manufacturer’s discount, retailer’s sale discount and free shipping.
I justified it by buying enough that I may never need to buy broadheads again.

Hello my name is Joe Schmoe, and I have relapsed. If it wasn’t for Rokslide I wouldn’t even know that Stockys carbon fiber VG stocks are better than cheap Tikka factory stocks !! My therapist told me if you hang out with users, you’re going to use. Now, thanks to you guys, I succumbed to a Black Friday sale. That’s right I’m blaming it on you. And that’s what I’m gonna tell my wife. The guys on rockslide said I couldn’t possibly hit anything unless I had one of these stocks! How could I have done anything else?

At least tell me that it will improve my accuracy?
