Hopefully these aren't the batch from about 2022 where the snap closure on the battery housing broke. I had three in a row that broke first time I used it - as it was meant to, with not abuse. The store didn't believe me, their distributor didn't believe me, and then they contacted Black Diamond, who confirmed it was a manufacturing fault. Quite a few online retailers blew out their inventory about the same time.
