So true and I think they were a penny each when I was buying them at my local 7-11 in the late 60's.

I throw them on the dash in summer. When they get warm and soft they are dang good

When BTC goes south this thread goes quite. What's people thinking? My investment going down 29.33% in 8 months while boring stuff like QQQ and VOO are up +20% is getting harder to swallow

Keep buying and stay diversified has been my approach. Im only putting 5-10% of any investments into bitcoin. It’s the same with precious metals. Some exposure is good but dont over do it.

As far as I know, wash sale rules do not currently apply to crypto. So you can at least harvest those losses and immediately buy back in. Helps offset gains at tax time.

A little more time and it will be self adjusted to that percentage.

Its in my IRA. I transferred it from Edward Jones in May of last year to a Schwab IRA. And I put some in BTC trackers. I hate to admit it. But I would have been WAY ahead to have kept it in the garbage that EJ had me in.

1. You ain’t gettin’ your 29% back for a while. Maybe not until the end of the year or into next year.

2. Let’s revisit your 20% QQQ and VOO gains in a month.

BTC is doing what BTC does. You can't get 100% gains without the 50% dips. The best thing you can do for your mental health is to not look at your account for a while and engage in other activities. It's 75 degrees and sunny here so I'm spending as much time as possible out of doors and less time behind my computer.
