I have tried a couple generic bipods like most. I have ended up with 2 different ones for 2 different reasons.
Bench shooting I run a spartan javelin lite, non adjustable. I bought a lot of adapters for it to throw on any of my rifles.
Hunting I went with… spartan viddar. I bought it on here used. It has 2 extensions though compared to the new ones that only have the 1 (tac) extension. Mine has the tac style and then the twist lock also for quite a bit of distance range. It’s slightly heavier but I usually never have it on my rifle while hunting. But if I do, it does fold up and locks in well with the disc lock design.
