Hey y’all. Looking for some recommendations on bipods.

I’m considering the Tricer RP, Rugged Ridge Gen 2 Extreme, or one of the Spartan bipods but am open to suggestions. I’ll be using it on an upcoming mid-Asian ibex hunt in Kyrg, and I also want to upgrade what I’m currently using for western hunts.

I need something lightweight enough for backpacking, adjustable enough for seated or prone shots, and with enough cant and leveling capability to handle uphill or downhill shots in uneven terrain.

What are y’all running and why? Any tripod recommendations as well as lightweight shooting bags would be appreciated as well!

I’d just take my atlas for that. I wouldn’t sweat a bit of weight on that hunt, you won’t be carrying much more than a daypack and rifle or hiking particularly far likely using horses.

Long shots, not backpacking, weight would not be a major priority in a rifle for that hunt.

I'm going to second the Hatch Outwest. Most versatile bipod I've ever put hands on. Tall enough for sitting shots, super adjustable, and doesn't have detents or camlocks. You just pull to height and it locks exactly where you stopped. Genius product.
