Bipod on Knight Ultralight?

I’m interested in attaching a pic rail to the front of a Knight Ultralight so I can add a bipod. I was able to dig up one picture of a bipod attached to a UL, but that picture didn’t show how it was mounted. Has anyone here done this? If so, how did you go about doing this, and has it held up?

The stocks are pretty solid, it's easy enough to add a T nut on the inside to thread into.

Have you done this? Knight just responded to say it would void my warranty, but I’d still entertain it. I’m curious how well the stock and bipod hold up, since this thing kicks like a mule.

I did it to add another stud for a bipod and had a Spartan lightweight bipod on it for a few years. No issues at all, they have quite solid fill and there was no question about it holding up. The stock is quite heavy duty for how light the gun is. A lightweight CF shell stock could probably drop a pound but the recoil is plenty bad at the stock weight.

Thank you. I have two ULs right now and I already voided my stock warranty by replacing the pad with a Limbsaver, so might as well order up some T nuts and go to work on this. I’ll leave the other rifle stock until I get this sorted out.

I put a SRS arca pic rail on my UL stock (ordered direct from b&c for a diff knight). Just replaced the stud with one bolt, and drilled a hole for another. Shoot it off my bipod and tripod now and it works great. If I remember I had to cut the nut that came with it the rail because it would not fit in the channel or something but it works now.
