I’m finally at a place that I think I want to upgrade my binoculars. I would like to rent some to compare before dropping $3k on binoculars. I’m mainly looking at the different kinds of Swarovski’s. I see that there are a few companies online. Has anyone used these services or recommend them?

Nice thing about rent outdoor gear is you can apply the rental fees towards the purchase price of the one you decide to buy. Really a no brainer to use.

That is one of the places I’m looking. I figured I’d ask here first

optics4rent. great to do business with. I actually bought a used pair of SLC’s from him for a great price. They were “used” but looked brand new.

Used this guy a few years back. Fantastic service, pricing, very reasonable insurance, shipped fedex/UPS in a pelican case, return label included in the packaging. Use it, drop it in the box and send it back. About as hassle free as it gets.

Have you used them before?

I used them when they first came out.

My hunting partner is planning to rent both the Swarovski 95 and Kowa 99 and keep the one he likes best. Think he's a month or so away from doing it
