I am curious as well Killboars, how can you tell the newest version from the older?

the strap attachment is different, as well as the objective covers.

the newest version has "Swarovski" down the side of the barrel. The previous version Swarovisions have "Swarovski" on the front

A few ways you can tell.....the easiest being the new attachment points. before that they had the old style attachments and thin black lines in the center. Also where they have the logos is different. Tubes are also straight on the insides. Before this the center was solid black. These are just a few things.

Im already using the warranty

Dont know what I did but I got one morning hunt out of them and the focus knob came off. Im a very careful person with my gear, especially expensive gear and so I have know idea what could of made the knob pop off. I tried to snap it back in but once i did it would not focus or come back off
Called Swarovski from camp and they said Id have to send them back. So now I've got 4 weeks to figure out a bino case or cover.

I keep my nikon range finder tied on to my harness strap so Im leaning toward the Kuiu or Swaro own simple cover.
I cant have this happen in MT.
