Bino help! Kowa gensis, Cabela’s euro hd, swaro slc?

WOW! If I didn't already have a pair of Genny 10.5X44s, I'd be jumping all over this. Might just be tempted to go for a pair of Genny 8X33s...

Kowa Genny is very good optically and underrated. One downside is its lack of easy tripod adapting (doesn't have a tripod exit) if that's a consideration.

The Kowa Genesis is an awesome binocular that I'd put side by side with the SLC

Once again, it's all a matter of personal preference. My 10x Genesis had the worst case of rolling ball I've ever seen in any bino, far worse than the SV. In fact, I don't even notice it in my SV at all. IME, the SLC and Meostar are neck and neck in the optics department, and build quality. Can't go wrong with either one IMO.

Some do, some don't, just like with the SV's. That's the way it works.

I literally just bought some used ZEISS Conquest 10x42 HD's from a gentleman on here like a month ago. These things are freakin' Awesome! At the very least.. give those a look before you pull the trigger.

To my eye, they make my Vortex 15x56 Vulture HD's no longer worth bringing with me.

Because I saved over $500 and got glass with better image quality than The SLCs. Not just my opinion, but also that of two buddies that own SLCs. They'd rather look through my glass than theirs if given the choice. And a third friend with ELs, begrudgingly admits that the Genesis punches right there with them. Not very scientific, and only a small sampling, I know. But it is the opinion of four guys who've compared them side by side.

Chadcharb, The only drawback to the Genesis is the lack of a mounting point for a tripod stud. This option is a bit pricey, but remember what you will be saving on the glass. This works extremely well and the binos still slide in and out of my bino pack effortlessly.

Some peoples eyes with binos will have rolling ball effect and others wont. Its when the edges "roll" when your panning. Field flattening glass is suppose to stop it for people that have the rolling ball effect

So the rolling ball effect is something that due to someone’s eyes vs the optics, but certain optics correct it?
