Bino Harness?

I am debating between the Marsupial Gear and the AGC KISS or Kodiak Cub for my new Zeiss 10x42 Conquests

You might like the vortex harness I put in the box with your conquests. It rode kind of high on the chest for my preference, but my buddy swears by his because he like it to ride higher. Its nice and light weight no frills. Glad to see you made it over here from AT btw!

Completely forgot about that vortex harness you threw in. I'll definitely try it out first before looking at other ones. Thanks again!

I'm looking at the Badlands. I have the rangefinder case and don't find the magnet is load. I think with anything, you need to move slow.

I run the Swarovski EL 10x42's and I run the 8x10 sitka bino bivy I really like mine only problem I have is there is not a lot of places to put things but I really also don't like a lot of stuff hanging from my harness just binos wind checker and calls that's about it range finder would be nice but the thing is I usually always have that in my pocket. The other big thing about it is I love the low profile of the bino bivy where drawing my bow is no issue. Hope this helps let me know if you have any other questions about anything else.

What are you guys running? I’ve used an Alaska Guide Creations and took it off after allay two. Too cumbersome and hard to get binos out. I’m running Swaro 10x42’s. Anyone using the larger Sitka harness?

I run the ACG KISS Max and it holds my binos, rangefinder, flashlight and field dress knife. If I'm going out for an evening hunt, all I need is this and my bow and I'm ready to rock.

I have an FHF, and just ordered an AGC KISS MAX, and a Marsupial. Not sure how either will do with Swaro 8x30 CLs. Will know in a week or so.

Thoughts on these 3 harnesses? I have the same binoculars and I want to move away from my Kuiu.

I went with the Marsupial. Much thinner which I like. I still wish it was shorter but I thought it was the best of those I tried. I don’t like magnets, but have to admit they work well for what they are intended to do. Here’s a top view of the Marsupial and AGC.

I really like the outdoor vision harness. Fits my Fury rangefinders perfectly. Also, it's not too cumbersome

I own or have owned every Harness mentioned here and others. My two favorites are the Sitka Harness and Outdoor Vision Harness followed by the Marsupial and AGC. Lots of great choices in harnesses these days.

Interesting perspectives. I have an AGC KISS that I loved for my Meopta bino but was to small for Geovids. I got the FHF and don't like it as well because it is really hard to remove and put back my binos with one hand. It was very easy for me to use the AGC one handed.

I run a sitka besides there not being a good pocket for your phone I really like it. My wife’s agc feels to bulky for me.

I have FHF with the attached range finder pouch - works well for my Vortex 10x42s

The best advice I can offer is to try out a few to see what offers what you think you want. Most of the mentioned harnesses can be had in the classified ads.

The bino harness is a two-piece kit - harness and pouch. I started with the first S4 harness which wasn't any better for me than a strap, it didn't alleviate the strain on my neck/upper back and offered little to no protection for the binocs.

I then got a FHF which has an excellent harness but the pouch flap is annoying when you wear it high on the chest like I prefer and it didn't offer as much protection from the elements as I would like.

Next, I tried out the AGC Cub w/ Max pocket. Harness was fine, I modified it with Waveloc g-hooks and locking buckles from Kifaru. Harness is good and pouch offers excellent protection for your glass. But it also is a mini daypack - I lack the discipline to not overload it and it is bulky.

I've settled on the Outdoor Vision for now. I really like the forward folding flap, the harness is good and the pouch offers the protection I am happy with. I can carry wind checker, license and mouth reeds, I like the minimalism. I wish the buckles were auto-locking, I've had difficulty sourcing 3/4" auto-lock buckles, not sure they exist.
