Bino Harness - Negates a rain guard?

Does anyone feel the need to run a rain guard (ocular cover) on binos that live in a harness? They just seem to get in the way, slow deployment and seem redundant. Does anyone feel the need to run both?

In fact I guess the same applies to objective covers

Lens covers go in the box into the storage closet when I get a pair of binos, then I put the binos into the harness and go about my life. I can’t remember the last time, outside my 15’s, I’ve ever used lens covers on binos since I started using enclosed an enclosed bino harness 15-ish years ago

Correct..."both" was in reference to eyepiece and objective ends. I do what @nobody above said.

No rain cover, no lense caps. Just more crap to lose or get in the way.
