Bino Bro Pro from OPW.... WOW!

to answer a couple questions...

Yes, the harness is adjustable up and down so you can put it on your chest wherever you want.
No, there is not a strap from the harness to the binos... I am sure you could add something, but it is one of the features that drew me to this product. I hate being tethered to my binos. They will not fall out, I have tried.
I am sure they can put the wind check on the other side... most of the time I carry my bow in my strong, right hand since i am right handed... i check the wind when i am walking, not when i am ready to draw... when i am ready to draw I need the rangefinder on the right... so the set up is perfect for what i want.

X2.... On another note their CS is great!

Thanks for the photos. Thats not what I expected in the back. Does it feel pretty comfortable? Mabye after your trip you will have more insight on comfort. Personally I found the kuiu harness to be far more comfortable than the webbing strap harness on the FHF... this sort of seems like a blend between the two.

suprised me too... i am really used to the fhf after a few years now, so I like it... i really like it solid. Dont get me started on the KUIU hahaha

I like th ea bility to move it up or down on your chest without having to worry about what it is going to do for the overall fit of the shoulder straps

More to follow on sunday night

I can weigh it for you next week. I can tell you it is on par with the KUIU... lighter than the FHF.

when it comes to a bino harness we are talking differences of ounces and I would not let that determine what I got over function.

I have used mine 1 season now and it is exactly what I have been looking for , The wind checker pocket is easy to use with either hand for my anyway.
I like the bottom zippered pocket also, this harness is very slim and quiet. I also added a Crooked horn sidekick rangefinder pouch to the right side, it fits perfect.

I have been using the "standard version" for 4 years now and it is holding up great.

I like the idea of the windchecker pocket on the pro model.

Quick update... Everything I thought I was going to like about this pouch I am really loving. The pockets are great, the lid is good, the comfort is great. My only issue is that I am having a tough time getting them into the pouch with one hand... not a big deal for rifle season, but is very annoying and may be a deal breaker for archery season as i dont want to set my bow down everytime i remove my glass. It seems the material is not stiff enough to keep the pouch open wide enough to really fit them in without wiggling it a bunch. I put a piece of plumbers tape in the area where the drawstring goes to stiffen in up, i will see how that plays out.

overall i think everytihng i great except that. Maybe i need the bigger size, but if i cant get it figured out a am going back to the FHF. I realy like the pocket at the bottom though.. so I will miss that.

I'm torn, I really like how quiet it is. I'll use it for archery but will continue to use the FHF for rifle. Joe, if you use the gun bearer from Kifaru with your bow then it could help solve your problem. I will not archery hunt without it now.

Squeekie, I found a rectangle bottle from a window cleaner product ,then I cut out the bottom and lined it with fleece tape and slide it down in my bino bro now the pouch stays open for onehand operation.

Dotman , I have been thinking of using a gunbearer for my bow , How does it workout and any pictures of it in use and set up?
Thanks.

No pictures but it is very simple, setup gun bearer on opposite side you draw. Place the lower cam in the rifle butt bucket and used the strap to secure the riser to your shoulder strap. You'll have to adjust it to get it to feel perfect, I put the upper strap just above my sternum strap. It releases quickly, easily, quietly and with little movement. Pretty similar to when you draw in overall movement but your bow is halfway raised due to the position.

You can also put the cam in the rifle butt bucket and hold the riser in your hand allowing the weight to be on your hips if you don't want to secure it with the upper strap.

The thing I don't like about the KUIU is the amount of real estate that the strap takes up on your back. I hunt with a fanny pack instead of a backpack just because I hate having something on my back making me hot and sweaty.

This looks good, but if you can't put the binos in with one hand, that's a deal breaker. I've gotta be able to hold a bow with arrow nocked and be able to one hand my binocs without moving a bunch.

dotman, +2 on pics pretty please :)

Do NOT get me wrong.... this thing is still 100% better than the KUIU in my opinion. Much easier to get binos in and out. I think a lot of it will just be practice at this point.

Any updates on this bino harness? I am looking for a harness that is quite, I can use one handed, has a pocket for wind checker and a place to hold my phone. I live in Western Washington so being waterproof wouldn't hurt either. It would be used for hunting elk with the bow and deer with a rifle.
