I just received my bikini frame today from Kifaru and when I first put the pack on the two stays were so out of alignment that one stay was directly behind my head and one was almost off my shoulder. After looking at it for 10 minutes or so I realized the two stays were "twisted". I could pretty easily shift them back straight but it has me wondering is that normal? If so, has this given you any troubles and will they continue to shift with a load on them?

Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem, but I started playing with the straps that attach the suspension and the frame. Fixed it right up.

All bikini frames are meant to pivot a bit, as this and the torso pads are part of what gives it the comfort.

So if you push on one side one way, and the other...the other way, than you can make it a parallelogram. When the pack get on your body with bag/load attached, everything equals/levels out.

We are at the sheep show now and have been having guys pack 50 and 100 lb bags around with it. When the guys get done using it and ask why it feels so good/form fitting when moving, we explain all of this.

Having said all of that, give me a call as I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly and everything is good to go.

NOTE: I'm doing this on my phone, so hopefully I spelled everything correctly and this makes sense:)

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll give you a call when your back from the show as I have some questions on a couple bags I'm looking at. From what you explain and looking at it, it makes sense. I was able to square it up and as mentioned by playing with the straps it rides square now.
