Hey all,

Trying to remove the ejector on an origin action so I can use the rem700 action wrench I have. The screw seems to be a 1/16 allen. It started to turn about an 1/8” then locked up and wouldnt turn either direction. I have never removed the ejector before so the screw shouldnt be cross threaded unless it was that way from zermatt. Anybody have issues with this little screw? The bolt stop screw (same size) breaks free and spins freely with no issues.

Where are you located?

This would be an interim solution as I would want to be able to remove the ejector if needed down the road

I’m in San Antonio, TX
Im going to try an allen bit that wont twist like the flimsy little allen wrenches. If that doesnt work I may take you up on borrowing the wrench

Im in AZ so id have to send you a shipping label if you’re good with that.

Let me know. Don’t worry about the label, just send it back when you’re done.

Put some Kroil or Liquid wrench etc. on the screw and let it soak. Last week I had a small one that wouldn't budge. Soaked it overnight and it came right out. Also a Bondhus hex screw driver works very well for these.
